Itchy feet

Hi,
My husband and I haverecently returned from a round the world trip with our children. My 40 year old husband has noticed that his feet ar dry and scaly, the skin between his toesis split and his feet are extremely itchy when he gets into bed at night. None of our children or myself has found that we suffer from the same problem, although my eldest daughter does occasionally suffer from eczema. Can you please help? Regards, Judy

He may have picked up a fungal infection or “athlete’s foot.” I recommend Lamisil cream, which is over the counter now. Use it 2X daily for a minimum of 1 week, preferably up to 4 weeks. If you don’t see any benefit then see your podiatrist. Vivian A DPM
