Jones Fracture Surgery

I had a screw inserted 7 weeks ago for a Jones Fracture and I was just allowed out of my boot.
The question that I have is I am now experiencing soreness in the foot.
How much soreness is normal and is it hard to re-break the bone once you had the surgery?

Thank you very much for the response. I have one last question. Have you ever seen where after the surgery you have pain with the 4th metatarsal? This seems to be where the pain is coming from. Thanks again.

Really, the best answers should come from your surgeon. I would hope after this length of time your pain would be minimal. Until the bone has healed fully, it certainly is vulnerable. Call your doctor.

Anything is possible. You probably should ask about having this x-rayed to see what might be going on.
