It depends on how long ago you had the ACL tear (I’m assuming that you had an ACL tear before to see a physical therapist). I’d say it’s a good idea, since playing soccer (along with football, basketball and skiing) makes one vulnerable to ACL injuries. I tore mine while skiing in February of this year, and I still am wearing an ACL brace. I’m building up my leg strength, and even after I do away with the brace, I still will need to war it while playiing team sports, going on rough hikes and skiing. Right now I’m doing all sorts of predictable exercises, like stationary bikes, hiking on treadmills, etc. Hope I answered your question or offered my opinion.
