knee cracking sound

hello doctor good eveningi m listening a cracking sound for last couple of weekswhen ever I sit down on my knees and triy to get upi feel soound in my knees, specially in my left knee.is it going bad????any thing wrong??????what medicine I have to take?i found this site after searching a lot,plz help mewaiting for ur answerhappy

Does it hurt with the cracking???? If it doesn’t hurt probably not too much to worry about. If it does hurt, could be chondromalcia patella…that means the patella is not tracking properly and getting “stuck” in the groove, thus causing the popping. If you’re having pain go to a doc and get it checked out.

Hello Doctor,Like Happy, I also have a cracking left knee. It all started one day when I got down in a typical catcher’s position (baseball) and something snapped. After a visit to the doctor (Physical Therapist) and 10 therapies I got some relief and I walk without pain. The only thing is the constant cracking sound. What can I do? I would not like to have surgery, but I would like to stop the cracking. Thank YouNelson Vicente

yes veery bad..normally its going to get amputated
