recurvatum or hyperextention of the knee can cause instability. Some people can control this with their muscles and concentration otherwise there is a wobblyness. What has been your experience?

After years of walking with hyperextended knees, what damage would most likely occur and how may it be correctected? Thanks for any suggestions.

My dad shattered his knee-cap a few years ago and has had trouble with both ever since. We are looking to get information on shoes, or shoe products that will be therapeutic for him. His job has him on hard concrete day in, day out, and therefore, his knees are constantly stressed. Can you please get back to me soon. Thank you for your time.
