left second toe numbness & tingling

The last couple of weeks I have had numbness, tingling and sometimes mild to moderate pain in my left toe, the second one to the left of the big toe. It comes and goes and I notice it after exercising, but at other times too. I didn’t bump or injure it, I always wear comfortable shoes. The toe looks normal no lumps, bumps or discoloration. Could it be a pinched nerve, and what is the treatment for this? Do you just live with it? Anyone with similar experience please feel free to respond. Thanks very much!!

You might have a Morton’s neuroma. This is not a tumor but a swelling of the sheath of the nerve in the bottom of the foot, in between metatarsals. This link will give you more complete information. Good luckhttp://acfas/brinert.html
