left second toe numbness & tingling

The last couple of weeks I have had numbness, tingling and sometimes mild to moderate pain in my left toe, the second one to the left of the big toe. It comes and goes and I notice it after exercising, but at other times too. I didn’t bump or injure it, I always wear comfortable shoes. The toe looks normal no lumps, bumps or discoloration. Could it be a pinched nerve, and what is the treatment for this? Do you just live with it? Anyone with similar experience please feel free to respond. Thanks very much!!

  1. You might have a Morton’s neuroma. This is not a tumor but a swelling of the sheath of the nerve in the bottom of the foot, in between metatarsals. This link will give you more complete information.Good luckhttp://acfas/brinert.html
