leg pain

I do the treadmill for 1 hr. daily at a speed of 3.5 on a flat elevation (2/dys) or 3.3 on an incline of 10% (5 dys). I’ve been experiencing pain btw. my ankle and knee which then goes into the knee and further up my leg to the thigh. I’ve also experienced when standing up a weakness in the leg. I’ve stopped doing the treadmill. Is there anything I could do to get rid of the pain? Thank you in advance.

there is a myriad of possibilities of why your having a leg pain and the most common of it is the the medial tibial stress syndrome (MTSS) or most commonly known as “Shin Splints”. The conservative treatment of it is wrapping your leg every morning and at night with ice for 10-15 minutes and refraining from physical activities like using the treadmill. Please don’t aggravate the pain that you feel. If symptoms still persists after.. please consult your local PT.
