Long Head Bicep Injury

(2 discussions)

I’m a group fitness instructor, teaching muscle resistance/strengthing classes.
I woke up a morning after teaching unable to move my arm in an upward row motion. Otherwise I have complete movement without pain in all other directions.
There was no pain or snap/pop while teaching, but it’s been 2 weeks of unable to raise my arm. After seeing a massage therapist, she indiacated that it’s the bicep tendon connecting to the front of the shoulder, and not the medial delt like I thought. Any suggestions or exercises?

How about going to see a doc?

Yeah, I should probably take my own advice . . . Thanks.
