MRI report

Impression: There is a small to moderate sized central protrusion of disc materia at L5-S1.
There is facet arthritis in the lumbar region as described, worse at L4-L5. I’m a 20 year old college hockey player. Can you tell me what all this means and what I can do for the pain?

    at L4-L5 there is a moderate sized central disc protrusion with accompanying annular tear of disc noted. The disc produces moderate mass effect on the thecal sac and makes contact with the bilateral L5 nerve roots.
