neck pain, 11 year old daughter, PLEASE answer ASAP.

My daughter woke up crying in pain, says she can’t move, this child is an honor student who has never missed a day of school this year, and school is out now. She can’t turn her head, raise her arms, or move her legs without it hurting her neck and she says she can feel “a vessel” in her neck when she swallows. I have been trying to reach a doctor or chiropractor, no one has returned my calls yet, thought I’d try this while I am waiting. I have given her 4 baby aspirin, what else can I do for her? Should I keep her immobilized and have her transported to a hospital or should I try to move her? Should I let her try to move or keep her still? What could have caused this, what do I do?You can call collect 706 798-5265 if that would be quicker. Please and thanks.

Did your daughter have any history of recent trauma, i.e. car accident, fall, etc? For anything that acute and with that much pain, the best option is to call 911, ESPECIALLY if it is the first time this has happened and you do not know the cause.
