If you do a search on Google there are thousands of hits for this very common problem- Plantar fasciitis. There are many varied treatments which can include, but are not limited to oral anti-inflammatories, arch supports both pre-fab and custom, injections of cortisone, physical therapy, stretching, night splints. Most patients respond to conservative treatment. Those who do not can consider surgery.
