My name is Anders Johansson and IВґd like start by telling you something about myself and my handicap. I was involved in an accident at the age of eleven causing aunilateral paralysis which among other thing put my left foot out of function due to a plantarflexion. After the accident, I tried many kinds of ankle support and foot braces. Many of them caused discomfort. This caused me to think about the problem for many years, until I finallydeveloped a new orthopaedic aid called the Dictus Band which I myself haveused daily since 1996. It was been comfortable, dependable and performed well.
