numb bruise
About 2 weeks ago I was playing baseball, and when I was batting I got hit just above my ankle by a pitch. The next day I noticed that the entire area where the pitch hit was numb, and is to this day. Is this normal, and how long do you think it will last? Thank you

A nerve may have been injured. There is a possibility if it is still intact but just bruised, it will take time (several weeks to several months) to recover. If it is crushed or severed, it might take much longer or even not heal at all. You might want to have this evaluated by a podiatrist or a neurologist.
