numbness in heels of feet and lower legs

When I was 8 1/2 mths pregnant, I developed numbness on the inside heels of both of my feet. Two weeks after pregancy, I developed numbness and coldness in both of my lower legs. It has now been 1 month past and still no changes. Any idea what this could be and what doctor I need to see to try and get this cleared up?

Awoke one morning with excruciating pain which ran down the side of my right leg. I could not even sit in a chair,went to my H.M.O. doctor which he said that it sounds like syatic nerve which I had 10 years prior. He gave me pain pills which helped however, a few days after my big toe started to feel numb and tingly,then it went to the whole bottom of my foot from the ankle down, moreover, when I take a step I feel a pain in my calf area just like a charlie horse. I have no swelling or dis-color, just a numb tingling feeling all the time. Thank you

BACK IN JULY I HAD BOTH OF MY LEGS AND BOTH OF MY HANDS GO NUMB, THE NERVE DR. SAID GILLIN BARRVIRUS, IT WENT AWAY AFTER 3-4 WEEKS, BUT A FEW WEEKS IT CAME BACK. THEY ALL TINGLE AND BURN COULD YOU PLEASE TELL ME WHAT IT COULD BE, THANK YOU ELLEN NICHOLAS
