Osgood Shlatters disease

(3 discussions)

Well I was recently diagnosed with this disease.
However, it is really important that I continue with soccer even though it is painful as I play, and very painful after.
I limp throughout the game and can barely go up the stairs afterwards.
What should I do? Is it necessary to take a leave of abscence from the game?

I have this disease and you just need to rest your knee. The disease is caused by to much comptetive sport so you need to rest for about 6 mounths and then take your time going back.
