This is probably a dumb question, but is an ankle sprain and torn ligament the same thing?

Shattered toe

I Broke my second toe from the left on my left foot. (the toe next to my baby toe) The emergency doctor said it was shattered but Buddy tapping was all they could do. He said if it were a big toe or the side of my foot it would require surgery. But because it is not used much it would not. Should I seek a professional or do you agree with this advice? Thank you Marci

TIP of toe itchy every day

I have this ONE toe – on my right foot, that is making me crazy.
You can’t SEE anything wrong with it, but it itches like hell.
And when I feel the tip of my toe, there’s no indication that there’s something under my skin.
The best way for me to itch it (you can grimace if you want) is to rub it against the carpet.
This has been going on for about 2 years now.
Just this ONE toe.
Still, at the times when it’s not itching, it doesn’t give me any trouble or indicate that anything should be wrong.
However, at no PARTICULAR time, my toe starts itching at least once daily.

Spinal subluxation from sitting?

I was wondering if it was possible to get spinal subluxation simply from sitting.
I used to sit for endless hours studying at my desk in college for 4 years without taking any breaks.
I believe my posture slowly got worse over the years as I was starting to hunch forward and I’m having all kinds of problems like ringing in the ears, fatigue, etc.
I also have a hard time sleeping on my back for some reason and have to resort to a fetal position with my arms extended out.
If I do manage to fall asleep on my back, the lower middle back area will hurt whenever I breathe for a few minutes, but the pain will go away eventually if I put pressure off my back.
What kind of problem could we be seeing here? Could simply sitting for endless hours cause a problem like this?

Marble size cyst on soft part of arch

I have a cyst actually two in the soft part of the arch of my foot, I’m calling it a cyst for lack of a better word, one is about the size of a marble and the other is a little smaller, I can’t tell if it’s a vein thats blocked or if it’s a simple stone bruise (it has a shadow bruise look) but it protrudes slightly from the skin and is extremely painful to walk on….
I have tried soaking my feet in warm water ( seems to make it worse) and putting ice on it makes it feel a little better…
I’m a little scared and have no health insurence and am wondering if its something I need to have checked out immediatly or if you think its just a stone bruise and will eventually go away… Thanks so much.

three weeks after neuroma surgery

Everything I read online tells me that “at three weeks the patient can return to normal activity.” It’s three weeks after, and alsthough my swelling has gone down a lot, every time I roll over the space under my fouth toe when I walk, it feels like someone is cutting the base of my fourth toe upwards with a shard of glass.
I cannot help but think this is not normal.
My doctor says it is part of the healing process.
can anyone shed any light or experience?
