IVE HAD THIS PAIN BETWEEN MY SHOUDER BLADES FOR A LONG WHILE NOW IT STARTED WHEN I HAD TO HOLD MY GRANDSON OVER MY SHOULDER EVERY DAY. I KEEP THINKING IT WILL GET BETTER BUT IT HASNT IT SEEMS LIKE IT IS SPREADING TO MY OTHER SHOULDER NOW. IT HURTS ALL DAY NOW. EVEN WHEN I DON’T HOLD MY GRANDSON.IF I GET SOMEONE TO MASSAGE IT RELIEVES IT FOR A LITTLE WHILE. IS THERE SOME TYPE OF EXERCISE I SHOULD BE DOING FOR IT?

    I’m not the chiropractor, but a massage therapist. Here’s a thought: Sometimes pain between the shoulder blades can be caused by tight Pectorial(chest) muscles and from neck. Look in the mirror and notice if your shoulders appear pulled forward. When we constantly hold things to our front, spend hours on the computer or driving our shoulders will pull forward creating a pull to the middle of the back. See a chiro/massage therapist/rolfer trained in postural analysis. Search for chest opening exercises. example: cobra stretch in yoga
