PAIN FORTH TOE
I have had a pain in my forth toe for 5 years. I have seen 5 foot doctors had three operations to fix the bone in this toe. Had numerous injections of all kinds of drugs. Nothing has helped.
I am now considering having this toe cut off. What would be the down side to this?

Has anyone checked your 3rd intermetatarsal space for a Morton’s neuroma?It would not be appropriate for me to advise you about amputating your toe.
