Pain in interior ankle bone

Hello. For the past couple of months, I have had soreness and tenderness on my interior ankle bone on my right foot. I should say that I have a loss of sensation in the same foot, but that is due to nerve damage sustained from a ruptured lumbar disk several years ago. Any ideas what could be causing this pain? Thank you.

Unfortunately you have not given alot of information. There really is no substitute for an examination. The possibilities range from nerve entrapment, arthritic spurring, stress fracture, bone cyst, tendonitis, ligamentous strain/sparin, positional deformity of the foot relative to the ankle.
I suggest you get an examination.
