Pain in little toes

Quite frequently, when I have been on my feet all day or walking alot, my toes start to hurt. My big toe and pinky toe are fine, but it’s the 3 in between that always hurt. I can’t describe the pain exactly, but it is a cross between numbness and cramping. I have yet to find a pair of tennis shoes that don’t cause this problem and now it is starting to happen with my other shoes as well. Am I buying the wrong shoes or is there something else I should do?

Without an examination I can’t be sure, but you might have a Morton’s neuroma. This is an enlargement on one of the intermetatarsal nerves. You should see a podiatrist for more information and treatment options.
