Pain in lower outside left foot

(2 discussions)

I woke up two days ago with pain in my left foot when I would walk.
It is getting worse and only happoens when I stand on it.
The pain is in the side area toward the back, like about 7 or 8 on a clock.
There is sharp pain when I apply touch pressure right below the big ball-like bone on the outside of the foot.
Any help?

By the way, the pain is worse when I am wearing a shoe, but the shoe does not feel tight at all.

I know this sounds like a broken record, but you really should get an examination by either a podiatrist or orthopedist.
