Pain in pelvic bone

(2 discussions)

I have noticed for the last two weeks that when I sit, my left “sitting bone” is painful, and no amount of wiggling in my seat relieves that, I have to get up.Last November I had a right partial knee replacement which has been very successful, I have no pain now except when I walk too much, so I do not think the two are connected. But what could be causing this?
I am female age 69.

Sheila,From the limited amount of info you provided, my first suggestion is that it may be a “subluxated” pelvis. In laymen terms, that means your left Sacro Iliac joint (the joint at the back of your pelvis) is likely fixated, or stuck. Chiropractic treatment of this joint would then “adjust” the joint, by pressing on it. Sometimes you hear a pop, which is a physiologic vacuum that happens behind a joint when it is mobilized. You may want to try Chiropractic treatment to see if it helps.
