Pain in R arm between elbow & shoulder

(2 discussions)

I have almost constant pain about 2 inches above the elbow on my right arm, to my right shoulder.
The constant pain is mild, however several times a day the pain changes to extreem, and shooting.
I don’t know what caused it, but it’s been going on for a long time and is getting worse.

I am the Director of Science for Microlightlaser, a therapeutic laser device. We are using our device in all the US Olympic training centers for musculo-skeletal injuries and conditions. We have had very good success in cases of pain of unknown etiology as well as those with known causative origin. Our device was used by the New England Patriots before the super bowl to bring injured athelets into higher performance conditions. In my pain management clinics, we have had very good sucess in treating nerve entrapment, impingement and regionl pain syndromes with this technology. If you have any interest, lease feel free to contact me.

I found this link by accident, but was so glad to see a discription that fits my condition. I am a 62 year old white female. I was diagnosed with multiple myeloma in 2018 and was not expected to survive more than 3 years, but somehow with several chemotherapy treatments and 3 rounds of radiation therapy, I have managed to hang on. Earlier this year I began having very severe pain in my right arm which was around my elbow and at times also ran under my arm and around to the middle of my back under my rib cage. I have been on heavy doses of pain meds. for several years with the myeloma and the bone disease I have, but they were not effective against the pain in my arm. My doctors have tried many approaches to relieving my pain without success. Does this sound like the disease you are referring to? Can you help me? I am also a type 2 diabetic.
