Pain, swelling, and cracking in right wrist

I have pain in my right wrist, it hurts mostly when I get off work (evenings)(I cook for a living) and when I get up. it’s fallowed by tingling in the hand and fingers sometimes. It’s always swollen and keeps cracking. What is this? could it be carpal tunnel syndrom? Can I get that when i’m only twenty?

Tingling in the hand and fingers could be caused by a variety of problems, including carpal tunnel. You can get carpal tunnel at literally any age. It would be best to see a doctor to get a definitive diagnosis. Best of luck.Dr. Ibarreta
