painful lump inbetween toe next to big toe
My 5 year old daughter has a painful lump appears to be cyst or some growth under the skin next to the joint it is hard and does not move. It is located on the toe next to big toe There is no skin discolorat or inflamation. I can not find any thing about this type of thing in children.
I have made dr appt for her.
But should I request or make sure they do an xray. And are cysts in childrens toes commen. She has had no toe injuries. The area is causing her pain when she walks

Most likely the doctor will have an x-ray done if bone seems to be involved. A sonogram or MRI may be indicated as well. It is a very good idea to have this evaluated.
