Painful, pea-sized lump on ball of foot
(2 discussions)
I have a painful, pea-sized, non-fixed lump on the ball of my right foot.
It hurts to walk on it, but not to touch it, really.
I have been using callous pads (the kind with the little hole in them) but after some months they still aren’t helping much, and it isn’t going away.
I have severe problems with that foot anyway, and ambulatory dysfunction.
I had an accident 10 years ago and had 100% right ankle reconstruction I also have degenerative disc disease, sciatica, spinal arthritis, and I walk with a cane.
What is this thing?
I have an appointment to see a doctor but not till next month, and I am curious about it.

Without seeing this, I can only guess. Some possibilities include a fibroma, inclusion cyst, foreign body, calcified varicosed vein . You really should have this looked at.

Thanks, doc, for your help. Guess I’ll try and move my appointment forward 🙂
