Painful tendons on top of foot
I feel a lot of pain if I walk/standup for more than five hours. I experience difficulty in walking up or down the stairs without the aid of rails. If I rest for more than 24 hours it seems to go away until I go to work again. The tendons affected are Tibialis Anterior and Inferior Extensor Retinaculum.
The problem seems to be hereditary, because my sister, brother and father are starting to feel the same. Please advise.

This can be a symptom of different things such as a foot deformity, vascular problem, even a neurological problem such as Charcot Marie Tooth disease. There is no way to tell from what you posted. I recommend you see a podiatrist first for evaluation and possibly a neurologist if indicated.
