I have been going through knee pain for about one year now. Done Physio several times and have a set of exercises to do to strengthen my inner quads.My question is why do I still experience the pain?How long does it take to build up the muscles enough for exerise to be pain free?Should I stop cardio exercises all together and just rest my knees? Thanks for your responses!!

    Make sure you are doing the exercises correctly with precise form. Doing leg raises for example with the foot relaxed and the knee slightly bent does not isolate the quad best. Make sure you also stretch the quads and hamstrings well.

Hi Charlie. I also have the same problem as you and have just started PT. I also was told about two herbs called Glucosamine and Chondrotin. People have sworn by it. You might give it a try. I have just started it and they say it takes about 3- 4 weeks to notice a diference. Good luck.Tami
