My orthopedic told me that I tore the peroneal tendons in my leg and foot. I had an MRI. I have peroneal tendonitis. I am to wear a walking cast for a month. Will this heal the tendons? If not what could be done?
Several questions1. Is 1 or both Peroneal tendons torn?2 Is the diagnosis tendonitis vs tendon tear?There is a difference. I think immobilizing is certainly a good idea and then re-evaluate if there is no improvement, surgery is an option.
