plantar faciitis

I have had plantar’s for several months. I was racing once a month and doing speed work twice a week. Back in June I noticed when I got up in the mornings it was hard to walk. After a few minutes it went away. I was planning to take a break after the Grand Prix series in November, but in Sept. the pain got much worse. It started hurting while I was running. The pain felt was sharp and continuous. I have been pool running for 2 months and sleeping in a night splint.
I tried to run the other day and could only run a little over a mile and then it started hurting again.
I have started taking anti-inflammatories that the orthopedic dr prescribed. What is the next step? I pool run in the deep end so there is no impact but I work very hard in the pool trying to maintain my fitness level. I have been doing some cycling but not much…
HELP!!!!

There are many treatments for plantar fasciitis You might consider seeing a podiatrist. Good luck.
