plantar fibromotosis

i have been diagnosed with the above condition, I have had two operations on my left foot to remove the lumps but to no avail. I have now been told that it is aggravated by surgery. I also have diabetes(on insulin)have you got any thoughts on how I can go forward with this condition and is it curable or treatable. It has recently spread to my right foot and I am in a great deal of discomfort.

I am sorry you have Plantar Fibromatosis. The unfortunate thing that can happen has happened to you. Reoccurrence is frequent. Usually the entire fascial band must be removed. Afterward, one most likely will need an arch support. As far as the diabetes goes, you would need to discuss with your internist whether or not you should proceed with this aggressive type of surgery. Good luck
