platar facitis

I had my right foot operated on in 2011 where they partially cut the tendon to extend it in order to loosen it up.
It helped some – I wear Merrill shoes a lot – many times the shoes still look like they have a lot of wear left but my right foot ( the one operated on) hurts like hell – I wear the outside heel down and it stretches the tendon.
it does not take much wear before this happens.
Is there any shoes similar to merrell’s where the sole lasts longer?
Is there any device sold by podiatrists to determine when this is going to happen?
I am going to try a level but not sure it will workThanks for any feedback

I think a custom orthotic might be what you need. The rearfoot can be posted to allow the heel to hit level. You need to see a podiatrist and discuss this further.
