possible infection after ingrown toenail removal

I have red puffiness at the back of my toenails. The 2 large toes. 2-10-2015 surgery was done to remove ingrown nails. Drainage has continued and now I am seeing the redness grow larger each day. The pain has increased as well. The toes also feel very hot to the touch. I have taken all medicines given for infection and yet it appears worse.
