Prolotherapy / – weak ankles / joints

(2 discussions)

Hi all ..
I am passing this on as it has really helped my in life.Growing up I sprained my ankles so many times I had constantly been plagued with chronically weak ankles and sprains. It was just a way of life.10 years ago I heard of this thing called PROLOTHERAPYwhich I checked out pretty thoroughly as an answer to weak ligaments.
I proceeded to have a series of 3 treatments and to this day, my ankles feel strong and like the joints function as they should,Not sure what Dr. Abrahms thoughts are on thistreatment but it has basically rid my life of weak ankles.
I guess prolotherapy has been around for many many years as a treatment for chronic pain .a side note—- I work with a lady who said she was in a car accident when she was 20 (30 years ago) and has been plagued with neck problems ever since… Had every treatment known to man with no real help.
I told her of prolotherapy 6 months ago – she sought out a doctor in the western NY area – got 1 treatment only and has said 1st time in her life she feels no pain.
Who knows….. perhaps promisingThanks all 🙂 Rob

I know what this is, but I have no experience using it. There is a podiatrist in New York, Dr. Robert Kornfeld who does use this technique.
