Pulled ligament?
(4 discussions)
Hi, Thanks for taking my question.
I am 61 and work out and relatively fit.
I was in a fun competition with 30 something’s and I jumped up from a sitting position and ran for the finish line. After running about 10 feet there was a loud pop in my right leg – seeming to come from where my buttocks connect to my upper leg. (Don’t know what muscle this is.) It has been a month and I am doing well but there is still a pulling when I walk. (slight pain) I am working out and doing Pilates but am very careful and don’t do anything to put a strain on it. Can you identify what happened and how I can further heal it? Thank you,Sue Brown

I can't help you unless you give me a little more information. What in the world do you mean by "sensoredocks"; what part of the body are you feeling the pain?

My leg hurts really bad. I can’t twist it or anything. It hurts to put pressure on it. I was walking last night and putting pressure on it while pushing my son’s stroller. I was drunk and I’m not quite sure what I did. I wondered if there was anything I could do for it before I went in to see a doctor and have them tell me I need surgery. Thank you. Jason

I was working at my unts house did not get hurt at all. Now when I strech my leg it hurts my big toe and now up to my knee it hurts when I strech my leg or walk. I’m woundering if it is the nerve or a ligament. In either case how long will it hurt for and what can I do to confort the pain.
