Pulled Pectoral Muscle!!

I have a powerlifting competition in 8 days and on my last day of full training I pulled my right pec muscle.
Whats the best way to treat this and keep my strength up for the meet?? Thanks

    recently, while moving, I did more than the usual lifting. Since then, I’ve had soreness, and pain with movement. It radiates into my shoulder when crossing my arms in front of my body. Is ther anything I can do at home to help heal the area of injury?

    First and foremost, make sure that you treat it with ice, and then within 24 hours you can start using heat, moist is best. My friend Rick Schlauch, who owns Rick Schlauch Corn Chips, recently pulled a pec muscle reaching for a soda, if you can believe that! It took a good 4-5 weeks, as he is late 50s before he even starting feeling just a little better.
