rare disease???

both of my pinky toenails are deformed i they have been this way since birth.
they actually don’t look like nails at all.
the best description i can give is they are black and shaped more like the toenals of a dog.
Once banged my toe on the edge of my kitchen table and ripped the nail completly out, but it grew back the same way.
i haven’t come across anything on the internet that looks like what i have.
Any idea on what i have?

  1. You simply have a deformity of these nails, not a rare disease. It is not likely that there is a “cure” for this. Some patients can improve the appearance by taking Appearex.
