I would like to know if it is possible to completely tear your achilles tendon and have it heal without surgery.
Can you simply wear a cast for a few weeks?
Will this tendon reginerate?
It is possible, but it takes a long time. One must be in a cast with the foot plantarflexed for a long time. Then afterward, the rehab is lengthy. When at all possible, surgery is probably to way to go.
