recovering after surgery

Hi,
I wrote in about my 5th metatorsal and how it would not heal for 5months.
Well they did the surgery on the 19th of November.
What a horrible recovery.
It hurt worse then when I broke it.
They did a bone gragh from my heel and put in a pin.
I can only sleep on my back because the cast pushes on the staples.
If anyone else has this done get lots of rest and keep your foot up at all times or it hurts more.
I am on day 5 since the surgery and I am not even close to feeling better.My advice is be careful at what you are doing,so you don’t have to go through this, I know I will.
