RED, PAINFUL KNOTS ON SOLES OF FEET
Could anyone PLEASE tell me WHAT could cause a red, PAINFUL, swollen knot to pop up on the bottom of my foot, within 20 minutes, and be gone by the next morning?
I’ve had SEVERAL of these come and go away. I also had one attack my thumb knuckle.
I must also add that nothing in my lifestyle has changed recently, and I don’t stand on my feet all day/ nor have I actually DONE anything to cause the pain.

Without examining your foot, I can not be specific. Possibilities include small blood clots, bacterial infections, allergic reactions, smoking, birth control pills, to suggest a few. When this arises, you should have it seen about.
