Ribs and muscle strain or injury

I have pain on the left side of my rib cage just below the breast and just as the ribs curve to the side of the body.
Silly injury.
I was fooling around with my friend and they were laying across that part of my body.
I shifted my body somewhat and felt a tear or a crunch. . .can’t really describe it accurately. Could it be an Intercostal muscle injury.
The pain is significant when taking an in breath and of course coughing or sneezing (or moving for that matter.) The interesting thing to me is if I put two fingers of pressure on my solar plexus, just below the breast bone, it releives the pain enough that I can take a deep breath and be more comfortable.
