Right arm/ right shoulder rotator cup tear 4mm

I injured my right arm just above the elbow at work Dec.10,2004. As I was closing the freezer door, I lodged my arm I guess just above the elbow, between the freezer door and a stationary rack.
It happened so fast I fell to the floor.
I’ve had EMG/nerve study and two MRI’s(one of the shoulder and one of the elbow. The EMG stated everything seemed fine, but the MRI’s showed that I have a tear in my rotator cup about 4mm. Doctor said I was going to need surgery.
Went to orthopedic surgeon and said there was nothing he could do for me.
Where do I go from here?
I am tired of being in pain!
I’m tired of taking pain pills!
I’m so very frustrated!! Please Help!
