ruptured blood vessel to knee

Hi, I was on my knees outside in the garage cleaning a screen surface, I kneeled on the asphalt surface. When I got up I noticed a burning sensation on my knee. I checked my knee and saw that I ruptured a blood vessel, the vein is puffy and has a bruised color to it. I was concerned and wanted to know what I could do to for it, or if it is serious.
