scholiosis

(2 discussions)

My son is 20 yrs. old and has just been diagnosed with this condition. He is in a great deal of pain most of the time and finds it painful to walk. Is there anything that can be done for him, to improve his quality of life. Why was not this condition found at his yearly physicals? This scares me and I guess the lack of information doesn’t help. Thank you for your time.

Hi He should see a chiropractor they could help him for sure. I have scoliosis but no physical has ever caught that, I don’t believe doctors check for that stuff during a physical.

have you heard of s.c.e.n.a.r? i’ve got scholiosis and am going in for the op, but before, when I didn’t plan to have an operation, I was looking for methods of pain relief. I went to have that scenar treatment mixed with acupunture and a little bit of physio and I can honestly say it helped loads. doesn’t make it better just takes the pain away, althought the treatment itself was a bit of an experience!! it’s an alternative medicine I think. we’d never heard of it until my yoga teacher put us in touch with the guy
