Scoliosis

I had surgery at age 17 for scoliosis, I am now 44. The harrington rod was used.
My back seems to be popping alot (top of the rod)I can press it and it will pop, my shoulders seem to be in constant pain as well as popping to. I do lift alot of weight on my job and I am wondering if this popping is normal? I do think I have a certain amount of arthritis now, but the rod popping has me concerned. Also getting my back popped seems to help, but not for long. I feel bound up at times, this is just recently however. Is this normal after years of having the rods?

I just recently found that I have Scoliosis when I was thrown from my horse and had my back xrayed. I’m 45 years old. The curve in my back is 40 degrees. The orthopedic doctor said to have it xrayed in 5 years to see if it is worse. Are there any exercises I can do that may help it? Could being thrown from the horse have caused it to curve more? For I never noticed the ridge in my back before. I did notice the uneven shoulders a couple of years ago. It’s been a month and my back tightens and hurts (not real bad) on the curve of the spine. Any info would help.
