Seasamoid pain ?

Where would the pain be located if you have done damage to the seasamoid bone?
I am getting some pain in my foot right under my big toe thats already fractured, I am wondering if I should ask that the seasamoid area be Xrayed next visit too, is it possible you can break this while you have already fractured your big toe too?
Thanks for your help

The sesamoids are under the 1st metatarsal head. When they are injured, usually there will be pain when they are palpated and when the big toe is pulled upward (dorsiflexed)The sesamoids should be visible in the x-rays that were taken. I always take a comparison view of the other foot.
