x-rays showed a bone spur on my sesamoid…have been in pain for two weeks and difficult to walk.started prednisone yesterday….have appointment with podiatrist in Jan.
what can I expect
I recommend you bring the x-rays to your appointment. Conservative treatment might include anti-inflammatory medicine, injection of cortisone, padding, orthotics. Surgery might be recommended if conservative treatment fails.
