My medial sesmoid bone has been broken for about 2 yrs. I am 27 yrs. old and am considering surgery. How long was the recovery time? Also, could you return to normal activities like hiking? Thanks-Krista

I had a bunion removed in July 2014 and I am still having a lot of pain. Now at X-ray shows a sesmoid bone that has shifted and is out of place. The doctor wants to remove it but I am concerned about normal foot function. Any thoughts would be appreciated. I can’t take the pain much longer.
