Severe Capsulitis

I have had a chronic case of capsulitis on my 3rd and 2nd metatarsal joint for two years. Custom orthodics and PT hasn’t worked. Can you recommend anything? My podiatrist wants to do a cortizone shot. Any suggestions?

Cortisone can often be helpful for this problem, but if the cause is not addressed, then the problem can reoccur. Have you tried a metatarsal pad on your orthotics?
