severe fractured calcaneus
severe fracture is my doctors words I crushed my heel on 12/23/o3 and now it is 4 months later and still can only put about 60lbs of whait on it. I weigh 200lbs I am in pt. I have a lot of pain in the back of the heal and bottom. the dr. just tells me it will take time but has not said how long. looking for ansrews. what do you think? and should I get a second opinon.

Yes it does take a good deal of time for this injury to recover. Have you tried a Silicone heel cup? -examples are Silipos and Bauerfeind.You certainly can get another opinion. You would need to get copies of your x-rays.
